Oh crap...Ianto's a target. What a great chapter! There were some really good lines...

“About my curse? Because I’d prefer the ‘beautiful women losing their clothes around me’ curse, instead.”

AWESOME

And perhaps we should do trust falls and build a tower out of office furniture while we’re at it.

Another great one.

Very nice plot twist there...people with near death experiences..and my Ianto might be a target..OH NOES!!!!

Well, Ianto's the King of Badassery! I think he could give Suzie a run for her money...

I'm glad you're liking it! Andy's going to be in the next chapter, too, but alas, no women, beautiful or otherwise, are going to lose their clothes around him!

This is wonderful. I'm surprised that you are writing fewer chapters now, I think it should consist of 32 ( ... )

Oi! I don't like the long drawn-out stuff. If it can be accomplished in fewer words, then it should be (that's just my personal preference). Also, I'm really not digging the WIP format. I don't think I have the right temperament for it! So 9 sections, most like. :)

I did like bringing Andy back into the mix. He's such a sweetheart.

Formica = my idea of a cheap table. They're the type you find in diners in the US. But I guess I'll change this to compressed wood. And I have had beer in about a thousand fics! That's a lot of going back. Okay, so, Andy has a case of beer in his kitchen -- he would call it lager? Or as far as a brand name -- Brains? That's the one I see most often in fics...

Hi yes Brains I guess, you don't see it in England, but even Budwieser say, would have lager on the bottle, so you might ask for a bottle of budweiser as it were.. In fact I was just thinking about it as I was listening to The Sin Eaters (again) and he was talking about drinking lager. It's one of those things where beer isn't totally incorrect, just not used much at all. It's a real word as it were. But yes, people say lager.

I think pine is fine for the table, it is the most likely substance. You can say MDF, which is compressed wood, but then you may find Americans reading won't know what that is!

I was of course joking about the chapters! I just meant I loved this so wanted more. I agree with you, I think it's good if there is an AU that works really well, just to write a few stories set in it.

When we were in Cardiff, it was Brains Brains Brains. Our hosts talked with us about beer...either they were being polite or they just use the word themselves. LOL. That is interesting! Lager sounds so much more refined for some reason.

Formica--yikes! I didn't think about that. Sneaky word, lol.

Thanks! It's weird; I had that in my outline when I started this thing, so I'm like "what was the plot twist again?" Hee!

I have already started the next one, so hopefully a much shorter wait between chapters this time! And thank you; I'm glad you like both sections of the chapters! Both POVs need love.

My alarm clock is very boring. Actually I have two, plus my dogs to get me up. It takes a bit for me to get going.

Oh, thank goodness! I've just started reading this tonight - have been a little too swamped to tackle a WIP, plus, you know, baby boomer here, must have instant gratification, so held off until it felt like the end was in sight. But now I'm into it, I'm lovin' it. Favourite things so far (not an exhaustive list): Gwen's rapport with Andy, the glimpses of her relationship with Rhys, Jack's taking over meeting from Gerald...

Ahem. Keep calm and carry on. PLS. *bates breath*

The end is in sight! I'm planning on getting the next chapter to beta today. So glad you're reading -- I will try to be quick (but not sloppy)!
