Yeah, the Kallyp's are rather naive. Their Captain even admitted that the trinket Ianto wanted was broken. They need to work on their bargaining skills!
Writing the innuendo was fun. Though I did feel very cheesy. :)

This was delightful. You write Ianto bluffing like nobodies business. The horny overtones to the hostage/trade negotiations cracked me up. You've put the picture in my head of Jones, Ianto Jones as Bond at the poker table in Casino Royal and naturally, Jack as Vesper Lynd :)

Sweet! I really, really wanted to get Ianto in a tux. They really need to get him in one on the show, have a little Bond homage or something.

The mental image of Jack as Vesper Lynd is making me laugh.

This was very nice. I particularly liked the, ahem, allegorical use of Ianto's "dragon". Who knows what will happen at the Hub if Jack ever catches any episodes of Merlin...

The whole Team had a nice part to play as well. Stand-out moments were the tremendously sweet flashback to Tosh's childhood and her father's bad back (all the more effective, like so much of Tosh's backstory in the show, for being so understated) and Owen's "Beacon of Chaos" (which would make a great title for a Choose Your Own Adventure story). And Gwen Meaning Business was adorable. She would look very good with an action ponytail, I think...

Thanks! When I set out to write this fic, I had "Jack tells Tosh a story while they're in jail," "Ianto wears a tux," and "Gwen Means Business." So I am very glad the Gwen Meaning Business resonated! I was trying to think if we'd ever seen her with an action ponytail. I think she wears one when she's still a copper, but is that all? It's just more practical than having your hair in your face.

This was great, very funny, I loved the whole Welsh Red thing, and all the innuendo.

I really hope that you write a long plotty story, I think it would be great as you have such good ideas, which is after all the secret of those epics.

And I am definitely planning to write a long plotty story (with a bit less crack) after I finish my AU. I don't have an idea for it yet, so must wait for inspiration to strike.
