I enjoyed this! I hope you continue. I really liked how you portrayed John - he's trying as a dad!

Thank you! I had never written John before and wanted to portray him somewhat sympathetically, as I think he has both highs and lows.

I loved this fic. So much. Please tell me you are going to continue. I'd love to see how things change with a being who is not so in awe of John and can hold his own. How would dean change with that influence?

Please continue.

Thanks so much for your kind comment! I don't have plans to continue this right now; I have a few other things to wrap-up. I'm really heartened that you liked it, though, and I love all the possibilities that this scenario opens up!

"Sorry to blow it for you, Cas, but humans are dirty and mean and chicken-shit, and I'm right there in the mud with the rest of them." Dean slammed his locker shut, only to find himself pushed back into it. "Ouch!" he protested as his head thunked against the metal ( ... )

I adore, adore, adore the trope of someone walking in on two other characters getting it on. It's seriously one of my favorite things in fic ever, whether it's played straight or for laughs. So that definitely had to be in there!

Thanks for reading!

This is amazing! I loved it. ♥

I really love this idea that Dean meets Cas as a teenager. So many possibilities and it gives me hope that things won't get so bad in the future.

and John catching Dean and Cas. *cackles*

The prompt really caught my eye, and it was so much fun to ponder and plot and wonder how things would be different for them. I'm very glad you liked it!

Wow! I think I'm in love with this fic. There were just so many things about it I adored; I can see Dean having much more self-esteem in the future with cheerleader!Cas being in his corner. It can only make the future better for Dean, I think.

I'm also wondering what joining up with the Winchesters so much earlier would mean for Cas. Joining up with them at this stage can't be what the host has planned, so will he being to lose his grace?

Also interested in the big plot point of the demon army being formed; I hope you're planning on a sequel as I'd love to see where this is going.

Thanks for sharing with us - hope you don't mind that I've friended you!

Thank you very much! I don't really have plans to write a sequel at this point, but I wouldn't rule it out completely. The demons' army was basically a twist on season 6's Eve and her creating new monsters and the show introducing alphas, coupled w/ season 5's Lucifer raising Death. I always felt that we didn't get to see those armies on the show due to time and budget restrictions, but I like the concept of them.

And as much as things would be different for the Winchesters, they would be equally different for Cas. But I like that idea, that even if he's cut off from Heaven, he still has a family here. What could Cas accomplish with full Winchester support, huh? It's interesting to think on it!

Thank you so much for reading! :)
