Day One & Two

This is just a long journal entry about the first 2 days of Mom being home with us again. Day One was about as frustrating as it could get without adding a heart attack or some other medical emergency, but today made up for it.

That's lovely, her asking for a cd player. I feel happy knowing she was really with you all today. (But I'm sorry yesterday was so exhausting for you all.)

Ed and I were always guessing about Mom's needs...and sometimes wondered if it was the demtia or just her southern bell thing being from the south. Her generation never asked for much but wanted lots just the same. I am glad things are ok. You may see many more days like these two but I wish you more of the good ones.
