Vantablack

Vantablack was created in Britain in 2014. It traps 99.965% of the light spectrum and is the blackest thing in the world. If you went into a room painted in vantablack it would fool your eyes and your brain and you would be unable to perceive texture or depth.

My mom (and my grandma) had a lot of superstitious sayings and I've used them and passed them down to my daughter. There's one that I'd never heard anyone else say until last night. When I was young, I asked Mom if Daddy could see us from heaven. She told me she wasn't sure because there is no pain in heaven and she thought if he looked down and saw us hurting, it would cause him pain, so maybe not.

I half hope that's true, because I wouldn't want Mom and Dad in pain for me now.
