Dick is the man with a plan. Well. He's the man with a few plans, and he's planning on carrying them all out. Most of them are similiar in some sort of way: he needs to reconnect with the people he loves, find some way to spend some quality time with them. He's lost contact with so much, and he needs to get it back

Roy grumbles in his sleep and rolls over. "Not home. Call back tomorrow."

Roy likes sitting. He yawns and stretches out on the couch.

"Any room for me there?" Dick asks, with a slight smile.

[not_speedy]

Roy blinks and pulls Dick down onto the couch. "S'that a trick question?"

[blue_bat]

"I never know how to be in the morning," Dick admits, and snuggles up to Roy. He needs to learn it, really. He just... hasn't, yet.

"It's okay. I just usually ignore mornings." He buries his head against Dick's shoulder. "So...why am I up again?"

"Sadly, they exist, whether you like it or not." Dick starts petting Roy's hair. "You are up because you are the most amazing man in the world, and I want to do something very nice for you because of that."

Blinks and grins slightly. Ow. Too early for grinning. Anyway... "Sounds like I don't have to get dressed."

Dick snorts. "Isn't it too early for that?"

[not_speedy]

Roy can't help smirking. "You said you were going to be doing something special which means I don't have to do anything but sit back and enjoy."

[blue_bat]

"Not -that- kind of special, you dork." Dick resists the urge to swat him. "...yet."

"Oh man. Fine. What do I have to do to get special stuff?"

[blue_bat]

"What do you mean?"

Roy starts laughing. "Nevermind. Dude. Give me my surprise already."

[blue_bat]

"I'm taking you away for the weekend. You're not going to worry about anything for one weekend and just have a vacation." And he didn't have a choice about it, because he needed it. They both did, really. "We can take Lian if that'll make you happier, or make Connor play babysitter. Because this is for you."

[not_speedy]

Roy blinks. "Connor's a safe choice so she can stay here."

"But only because I'm still sort of tired and you're very persuasive."
