Thanks for the petition link, I added my name.
I've come to believe that people who murder for "sport" are psychopaths. I'd like to believe that after experiencing the world's outrage he has an epiphany, like the reformed hunter on "Northern Exposure," and henceforth only "hunts" animals with a Nikon camera. Or uses his money and energy to protect animals, instead of kill them. But I doubt it.

He was quite a handsome fellow. And the leader of two prides. I don't know if any of the lionesses in the two prides have cubs, but if they do, they are in danger too. If another male takes over their pride, he might well kill the cubs to get the females to go into estrus faster.
I just don't get hunting :/ Although it might be hypocritical for me to say it because I've went fishing with my grandparents and enjoyed it. But yeah, those aren't the same thing.
