In imagine it's not easily for a lion to please two lionesses at the same time.  Just watch the video: after the lion massages his first lady and turns to massage his second, the first rolls back over and into him, disrupting his pawing.  It's hard not to believe the first lion did that to break them up--then she walks past him, parading her rump ( Read more... )

These two brother lions were kept in hellish conditions at the start of their lives--all they had was each other.  The bond between them is amazing and awe-inspiring.

If you have this kind of love in your life, you are a very lucky person.

Last year Bolivia passed a law prohibiting use of wild animals in circuses. 25 lions were emancipated, and relocated to The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg, CO. Now, Peru and Uruguay have followed suit, and 30 more lions are winning their freedom ( Read more... )

This happened at The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg, Colorado.  From their website, I learned that some pride's favorite treat is red-meat, while other's are poultry (chicken legs).  Fish must be added to provide variety to their diet ( Read more... )
