I Want a Mechanical Lion!
I usually don't like Superbowl Half Time shows, but Katy Perry's yesterday was pretty awesome.
She rides into the stadium on a gigantic, golden mechanical lion!
(She really undercut her message though mentioning tigers and lions in the same breath--there is no comparison--tigers are assholes. Plus, lions don't rear up on their hind legs when they roar, Katy--they are not horses.)
If you're thinking about getting me a present for my birthday next year, I would like one gigantic, golden mechanical lion please.
Update: What a rip! It isn't an animatronic (mechanical) lion at all. It is a puppet lion. You can see the puppeteers dressed in black above, and in plain clothes below.
