Paragon of typically unflappable debonairability spiral_meter admitted in a recent blog post, "My smile isn't always a smile. Sometimes it's an unintelligible expression that only causes confusion." ( I also have that problem... )
Ha! I learned a new word. "Debonair." Of course, I dont understand exactly why a smile is an unintelligible expression. Dogs are pretty honest with their smiles. Human beings, I suppose, less so or why they would cause confusion.
Sometimes one can start to smile, but it doesn't fully form and instead looks like a sneer, a leer, a grimace, or a snarl, or that befuddled, vacant, anticipatory look someone sometimes gets when passing gas.
Unless you're a twenty-something 5'9" blonde woman with legs that go for miles, who is equally comfortable at minor league baseball games and art exhibit openings, and who possesses a well-polished ennui that can only come from years of idle pleasure financed from a steady and unending stream of monies from a trust fund, I'm afraid I'm going to have to decline.
But we can still be friends. * offers hand to shake *
Fangs would be useful, I agree, if one could avoid biting one's tongue. There are many people that could use a playful though corrective nip (including you, Mel, for thinking my lion avatar was a girl!) ;)
