This is the story I cannot write. Please... I wish you to do this.
Mia Fey and Diego Armando look much older than they claim to be... It's because they are.
Twelve years older, in fact.
They met as teens, became friends and soon a couple. They experimented together with their newfound sexuality, never realizing that this, their greatest mistake, would someday change countless lives.
As adults they worked together as defense attorneys, resuming their relationship as if that single night of passion they had shared never happened.
Their love never died, even when Diego was poisoned. Even when Mia passed away.Present time, three years since Mia's death, Diego returned to the world as Godot bearing a heart full of anger. He blamed Phoenix Wright for the death of his loved one, blamed him for not being there to protect her from the blow that took her life and forced Godot to wake up alone ( ... )

Put simply, as teenagers, Diego and Mia experimented sexually together, and as a restult, Mia became pregnant. With pressure from Misty and Diego, Mia gave up the baby, who would be raised in abusive foster homes. That child was Phoenix Wright.
Since he blames Phoenix for Mia's death, Godot's anger rises and rises continually until finally he attacks and beats Phoenix, right in front of Maya and Pearl.
How Mia knows that Phoenix is her long-lost son is up to the author!non who takes this rather elaborate request, but more important is this revelation's effect on everyone's lives.
Additionally, in this setting, Miles has recently proposed to Phoenix and soon Phoenix will be Phoenix Wright-Edgeworth. But this is all so much for the bride-to-be to handle, so how will it affect their relationship?
I would greatly hope Miles would be there for him.

Your idea has intrigued me, and although I'm still not sure I can do it justice (yes its me again) the idea won't leave my head. I already started writing up a little vignette and have started to plan out a story.

I've already got one part typed up (Godot's POV) and I'm working on a Phoenix/Miles part now. I'd post what I have, but I'm not sure if what I wrote is the first chapter or not. I'll just have to see where this takes me.

Didn't you read the clarification? It says right there that under pressure from Diego and Misty, Mia gave up the baby. Since Phoenix was raised in foster homes, Diego never knew him.
C'mon, why else would he be Phoenix Wright? I don't think Mia would hide the baby, and if they'd raised him it wouldn't be a secret. Plus, he'd be Phoenix Armando.
