*hovers in mid air and spins around so he's upside down and grinning at Jason* It's not boring, I don't mind going slow for you 'cause you're fun anyway. But tidepools are awesome too, we c'n find more starfish maybe!

*smirks at Kon* You like bein' upside down a lot. You're so weird.

Ooh, starfish an' ane-- anemones! I've seen those on TV. Let's go look!

You'd like being upside down too if y'could. It's more fun than being right side up!

Aren't 'nemones hurty? Better be careful, don't want you t'get hurt. *rolls around so he's horizontal and starts flying at the same pace Jason walks*

Nuh-uh, all the blood rushes to your head and then you feel all spinny and weird when you go right-side-up after. I know. Batman hangs me upside down and makes me pick locks for training.

I'm not stupid, Kon. *sticks his tongue out at Kon and then laughs* I'm ain't gonna touch 'em. I just wanna look!

*He still feels a little bad about making Kon fly slowly, so when they get to an area of the beach with some smooth, firm-packed sand, he makes sure Kon is out of the way and does a series of cartwheels just for fun.*

*Kon walks with him for a little while, then gets bored and starts flying, using TTK to bring Jason with him, so that they're a few feet above the ground*

Handsome's okay. And she was right 'bout you being handsome, even if she was a cheek-pincher.

*Jason looks around, delighted, as they fly.* This is so cool. Flying's even better when there's no line.

*grin* Aww, you think I'm handsome! *he puts his free arm around Kon and presses his cheek to Kon's, teasing* Yo-o-u like me, doncha?

It is cool! We can fly anytime you want, it's way more fun than walking.

'Course I like you. *nuzzles Jason's cheek* Like you more than anything.

Okay. But there's another big tidepool down there, let's go check it out.

*nuzzles back* Really? You like me more than... than Krypto?

*hugs back and flops onto the sand, pulling Jason with him*

Yahhuh. My Jason. *nuzzles* Can't keep you forever but you're mine for now.

*little sigh, and he ruffles Kon's hair* What d'you wanna do now?

*grins and leans into the hair ruffles* Umm... ice cream! S'why we came in the first place. *blinks up at the sky* An' the sun's going down, we should get ice cream before then.

Good idea. Superpowers're awesome. *grin* Let's get going, we don't want the thief to get too far!

That's 'cause breaking people is bad, 'cause bad guys break people so if we broke people we'd be bad guys too. Right? *ten year logic is amazing*

*grabs Jason's hand again without waiting this time and flies them up and over the town to look for the bag thief*

*Jason holds Kon's hand really tight. He has a thoughtful little scowl on his face for a while, as he scans the small crowds in town.*

I'm not saying that our bag thief deserves it, but there are some bad guys who should be broken. Drug dealers. Kidnappers. Pimps. I don't think it makes y'bad if they get hurt getting taken down.
