I quite liked how you showed us that perhaps John knew what he was breaking in the boys - but coudn't really stop himself.
I need a new icon! I believe I have pretty much left Fraser behind since falling into SPN.

Yeah, I think that John knew it wasn't good to hunt, but it was the best he could do with all her personal damage and fear. Poor dude!

Re:icons- I've been stalking the spn newsletter for new ones, as this journal is almost entirely for fic... and the actors are all very pretty =)

The way her nose twitches is familiar. The rhythm of her breathing is familiar.

This is lovely! Sweet and sad at the same time, and I love the way there are these little mentions of Sam in there, like he's still constantly there even if Dean doesn't want to think about him.

Thank you! I'm glad that you were feeling the Sam bits, I definitely wanted to have his presence at the edges of things, even though this is a super-Dean-centric fic.

Haa, yeah. All thirteen days of it. It really struck me in "Sam Interrupted" when Dean said that he'd never been in a LTR, because usually that's a big part of people's lives and because he seems like a character with alot of love to give... so that was the inspiration for this.

Oh, Dean.

I love the argument in the bar; nice to see Dean being perceived as a belligerent, horny hick, because we often forget that yeah, he kind of is one.
Also, I could tell the end was going to be sad, but that didn't stop me from being upset anyway. poor delusional Dean. of course you can't have a long-term relationship!

I mean, seriously! Doesn't he know that his man-pain drives this show!?

But yeah, I'm glad that the bar scene turned out OK, I liked the idea that he met Cassie during and election year; it was fun playing with his political views, since Show pretty much avoids all that.
