I just received an email telling me that both presentations I proposed for Azkatraz were accepted! Your kids can probably help you with Powerpoint. I know my young cousins were working with it in elementary school. I also know my youngest cousin feels bad for me because I had to do things the hard way growing up without the Internet.

You are so right. In fact, Rachel already had a good idea on how to avoid my paying for a copy of a program I'll probably never need again: download a freeware version.

And THEN she can teach me how to use it. ;)

The trick with PowerPoint is to keep yourself to five words a slide maximum. Otherwise you're tempted to just read the damn thing out, and that Makes PowerPoint Suck.

Actually, it'll be more like a slide show than anything else, with images of the Tarot cards, so I don't even think I'll be having more words on any screen other than the title of one of the books, images of the cards that "go" with each book, etc. The images will be the prompt for what I'll be saying but what I'm saying won't be on the screens displayed.
