Timing is everything...

...and mine sucks. I'm supposed to sing O Holy Night during the Christmas Eve service tonight, and my nose is completely stuffed up and I can't breathe without my mouth open. Last night I just started sneezing at one point and couldn't stop for a few minutes. I must have sneezed thirty or forty times in a row, and since then I've been completely ( Read more... )

Aw, that sounds like no fun. I hope you feel better soon and that the house issues get fixed up with minimal pain.

Thank you! I just saw in the forecast that we're supposed to get rain on Tuesday, so I'm really going to have to get some help from the plumber keeping the rain out, since there's no way the pipe can be replaced by then--the guy who came today said they're all booked up already next week. I may call another guy I know if they can't do it quickly.

What I really love is that the decongestant my husband got me is supposed to be stored at temperatures between 68F and 77F. :sigh: If our house were 68F I probably wouldn't NEED the decongestant. (It's around 62F near the thermostat--probably closer to 58F in the bedroom, which is where I had the initial sneezing attack.)
