So I promised no drama in this LJ

Shorty and I have been dating over a year. She likes to complain, and I will admit that her life has an unreasonable amount of misery associated that isn't her fault. But sometimes you just have to try your best to move forward. Well, last Wed she calls me, a lot of complaining about work, school, and finding a job after school. I try to help (or ( Read more... )

Well, I have to admit, I was disappointed when you moved to Indiana. I was really looking forward to having you here and havingyou participate in all the goofy crap we always do. But Princess pointed out that things wouldn't really change between us, it would be more of the same, and the same wasn't bad. So that kinda got me through it ( ... )

You're right, going to school here was definitely a good move for me, it was the staying and taking the job that was kind of half-ass, and it was the easier decision to make.

Part of my angst is the fact that all my friends clear out of town for the summer and I just really don't have anyone to talk to just de-stress with.

And that's the nice thing about social sites like this is that you guys can still be part of my support structure. Thanks for the comments and emails, they were exactly what I needed.

This is a tough comment to write, so bear with me and as always call/email/im if you're angry/confused or just wanna holla.

So you moved to a far away locale. So you fell for a girl and made a decision to stay. So you took a job that seemed like a good idea at the time but perhaps isn't the best thing. And so you're missing home and the awesome people are there. I of all people, cannot fault you for making any decsisions you've made, and I don't even think they're bad decisions, they're life decisions that perhaps just didn't work out the way you wanted them to ( ... )

You are exactly right... Both places feel different from each other. For me, neither one quite feels like home anymore. Va did in high school, and IN did after my second year here. But now, not really.

My vacation kicks in at the end of the month, and I was planning on taking at least a 4 or 5 day vacation anyway. As you said, when I come back for 3 days I get the VIP treatment and it just isn't quite reality. And of course when I do that I tend to hang with you guys and blow off my old HS friends, as referenced above.

But really, its kind of been building, and about 5 different things this week pushed me over my limit, needed someone to vent to. And you guys provided just the advice I needed. So I will keep thinking it over and keep you all in the loop.
