So Steampunk World's fair...

Overall I do have to say it was rather nice. The people are wonderful as per usual and the entertainment was delightful. The bits I got to see were delightful anyway. I helped out Karen of KVO Designs with vending. That was also cool as I was paid in swag

Two mini-notes:

(a) You know that, though I ran the event, it was not my event this year, aye? I was not actually supposed to be running it? :)

(b) You also know that we had the proper permits, signed and everything and issued by the fire dept, but the hotel did not?

a) I was aware that this was not your event. I heard that the coordinators bailed Friday night when things got too hairy and you ended up running the show. Is there truth to that? (Also kudos for stepping up to the plate)

b) I did not know that the hotel was the one that screwed you guys over. The whole situation was very confusing, and usually when that happens I blame lack of communication. Sucks thought that the hotel screwed you guys like that.

Will there be a next year for this event? And who will be running it if so?
