I like razorblade by the strokes.

I always thought my dad died at the age fifty. When I visited the memorial they built for him in the PI, that was the first time I saw that he was forty-nine. Plan your days well.

I've been so numb lately. Too tired to be excited about anything. I want you. I have to take care of getting a house. I have to get a ticket of going home. I have to get permission to go home.

With the ship underway on my birthday, I was really busy
and didn't really want to do anything about it. It made me
realize that every time that we're in port, you have to treat
it as if it's your birthday. So, happy birthday to me for the next month, then it's back to work.
I miss you all, I'll be back soon.

but I've been so busy that I only work and sleep now.
and now we're about to go underway again.
and I haven't even bought the candies that I wanna send home yet.
I'll try and get 'em this weekend.
