after talking to heather, i've decided to not view it as a remake. they said they were doing a complete overhaul, so i'm going to view it as a continuation. it may be interesting to see freddy after so long. as long as they don't try to mess with his backstory, i think i'll be fine. won't stop me from grumbling, but it's the only thing i can think of to do that won't make my head explode.
