"Day by Day" Preview

So, D's unreleased song "Day by Day" will be the theme song for the new game "LoveφSummit" as part of the Neo Romance series from KOEI. I happened to be scrounging around youtube today and found this preview. I'm.... not too impressed, myself. >_O

I can't see it since it's on YT - but Avex has obviously got some interesting ways to put D out there. But then, if you think about it, how else is a band gonna be heard by people? I've heard tell of many jrock groups doing stuff for other Jpnz products, right?

And lest we forget, from all the previous stuff we've seen, almost all the members own more than 1 gaming console. I wouldn't put it past the guitarists to be into various games. Not shounen ai, obviously, but if they are thinking about attracting a wider (girl) audience... then... *shrugs*

Well, I think that D is very meh about shounen ai, so they wouldn't feel averse to that kind of thing. I wonder how much/long Avex had to twist D's arm to do this... Is it D's choice anyways? Or Asagi only? I just can't see Asagi giving in if he didn't fully agree...

I worship D, seariauslly, but bleming Avex? (Sorry, this is not only to you xDD)They knew what they were getting on to in the first place....

Oh, I totally agree. As I said, I don't think Asagi would have let it happen if he didn't want it to happen. Which is why he chose avex. And I also think that most Japanese people are remarkably lenient about things like shounen ai vid games or simulations, so it wouldn't seem odd - rather a step up and a chance to be seen.

I look forward to the day that they will make a opening song for an anime.

xDD I don't like this at all... I never thought they would get major xD. If u see the tafel anatomie dvd, they look so happy of doing what are doing, just for the fact of loving their work, and then suddenly they do all this crazy things, I do not see the resemblence. It has to be out of money only. I've seen some things on the web of ppl talking about D, like they don't have any clue of who they are, is sad, yet they sure love them (?)

I'd only play this game to a. listen to this song and b. see if there's a character that resembles any of the D boys, just because I'm kind of curious. This is a strange kind of request from Avex. :|
