I had never, never paid attention to Ryuuken before the recent backstory, and now I just feel so sorry for the poor man. I knew things had to be complicated between him and Isshin, but really?! Not something like that, it's too sad. D:

Shuuhei is unflinchingly loyal, that's for sure. He's been loyal to a memory for over a century, and now he's still loyal to the guy who stabbed him and kicked him off a building?! Jeez, I don't know whether to admire his resolve or think that he's just hopelessly naive and stupid. XD I've seen a lot of different people speculate the kind of relationship Shuuhei and Tousen really had, and I'd like to see that myself now that Shuuhei's still defending the guy after everything that happened.
