Stakeout was boring. Oooohhh so boring. Dinah had been crouched in the shadows watching and waiting for who was going into a new underground illegal casino for the last two hours; there had been talk that it was going to be hit tonight. So far, no action, and nobody who was of particular interest to the Gotham P.D. But you never knew.

It was not, truly, that Hinata had anything in particular to discuss with Dinah. But she'd not talked to her in quite some time and that was reason enough to call, wasn't it?

And so, the phone was ringing.

Dinah had the phone on silent, but blinked as it buzzed, then checked the Caller I.D.

She was far enough into the shadows, and far enough up, that answering in a very low voice wouldn't hurt. "Hey, Hinata. How's it going?"

"Hello Dinah," she said, pleased the call had been picked up--but Dinah was talking so quietly that she had to ask. "Am I disrupting anything?"

"Not really. I'm pretty bored at the moment." She paused, her voice still quiet. "I'm watching an illegal casino to see if it gets robbed. So I may have to leave suddenly, though."

Playing Bejeweled on her phone or doing anything else was totally not allowed, but as long as she kept her eyes on the front and side doors here, she was doing her job.

To be fair, Roy, people running around on the rooftops in the middle of the night generally get what they deserve.
