Yeah, she's not bad for a $5 pound puppy! She is the joy of my life these past 10 years (she was a year and a half when we got her, skin and bones and afraid of her own shadow). She was scruffy and quite homely. A good haircut and pleny of loving has certainly been good for her. When I first saw her at the dog pound, I thought she was just the ungliest dog I had ever seen, now I think she is just about the cutestdog in the world. She was so pathetic, we just had to take her home with us. Love can definately change how we see something or someone!

I had to take Jasmine to the vet yesterday for her monthly weigh-in. She was especially pissy about it. She hates going anywhere and meows non-stop. I take her on the bus because it's only about 4 minutes down the street, and I try to keep her quiet during the ride, but yesterday there was no calming her.

They know and love her now at the vet's and they get a kick out of how freakishly attached to me she is. She clings to me and when I finally get her on the table she hooks her paws on the edge and pulls herself right up against me, lol!

The good news is, she's lost about 7 pounds since last summer...that's incredibly good for a cat. She's become so much more active now. Only about 3 more pounds to go!

Oh, and it's Bailey's turn on Tuesday. She's due for a booster shot. Getting ahold of her and getting her in the carrier is unbelievably difficult so not looking forward to it. At least she's quiet on the trip!

Cuddles used to love her vet, then she left. Cuddles does not like the new vet and he is a bit afraid of her,she can be a tad snappy with him. HE had to muzzle her because she was lifting her lip at him. I told the assistant (when vet was out of the room) that Cuddles doesn't like vet, I don't think she likes him either.

Cuddles whined all the way there, like she knew she was going. Not a fun 5 mile ride. I need to find out where our lady vet went and go there. We miss Doctor Wendy!

As for getting kitty in carrier, you need to toss treats in her carrier every day, just to get her used to it and not take her anywhere or shut the door on her. That's how we used to get Cuddles into her crate when we used to use it.

Nice weather indeed, although it rained here today, maybe tomorrow I'll be able to go out for a long walk. I think we're done with the snow for this year (uhh I shouldn't say that or else we'll be unexpectedly dumped on again xD). Cuddles is gorgeous, enjoying the beautiful weather. She sure looks comfortable :)
