I struggled through the first couple of hours at work today, being quite tired and the sore throat persisting.  However, it's got easier as the day has gone by, with help from lovely emails from Cat and P.  The fact I'm not currently laden down with work also helps, as it has meant I can just take my time over the things I need to get done.  I ( Read more... )

 I'm just back from an extended weekend at P's - though a combination of 2 late nights followed by a long-ish train journey accompanied by heavy bags means i'm not sure how much detail I will be able to relate right now!

I'm miserable this morning.  Although the sore throat has pretty much gone (just a bit of a dull ache now), I have a stinking cold and so i'm feeling pretty sorry for myself.  I am coughing and sneezing and go from being sweaty to shivery in the blink of an eye.  I'm going to try and get through my work today at a good speed and then see if I can ( Read more... )

As I am seeming to find more frequently these days, the more I look forward to something, the sooner it seems to be over.  I am now in that period where I'm still too sad about the weekend having passed, to begin to look forward to the next time.  The sadness will pass and i will cheer up, but it takes a litle while, and in the meantime i'm finding ( Read more... )
