Between us, P and I have somewhere over 200 DVDs in the flat.  I thought we could watch a film this evening while I did the ironing, so I asked P to pick one.

Out of all the possible choices, P picked 'Bridget Jones' Diary'.  Of his own volition, I might add.

And he stuck with this choice even when I ventured the alternatives.

When I'm ill (as in curled up on the couch dying sort of ill), I develop an urge to watch chick-flicks. I think I just want something to distract me that I don't have to even think about or try & understand.

If P is ill, then no. If not, he probably is.
