Paul and I were discussing the significance of our fortune cookies.

Mine said "you will make wise decisions" and we were in dispute over whether that is enough indication for me to go off with my new ex-bodybuilder personal trainer who has the biggest muscly arms I've ever seen  :P

tea and biscuits is definitely the best way to end a hard day....

Between us, P and I have somewhere over 200 DVDs in the flat.  I thought we could watch a film this evening while I did the ironing, so I asked P to pick one.

Out of all the possible choices, P picked 'Bridget Jones' Diary'.  Of his own volition, I might add.

And he stuck with this choice even when I ventured the alternatives.

Should I be

I could survive for 19 seconds chained to a bunk bed with a velociraptor

...because everyone should have a titanium spork really. 

Something is not right in the world!

BT have come to our flat to connect the phone line not only on the date they gave us, but within the time slot they allocated us.

Even more unbelievable - they called P half an hour before turning up as promised to give him time to get from work to the flat!

Miracles do happen!!!

I had envisioned that there would eventually be a string of entries detailing the ups and downs of the hunt for a flat in London however, the events of this weekend may have rendered all that unnecessary!
