A semi-constant concern, and an endless source of fodder for workplace discussion, is the question of who ones partner is on any given shift. I have had the position of working at agencies without set shift bids, so it's often possible for me to have a different partner for every day that I work in a month. I can sympathize with what you're saying. Crews on an airplane are a little like that on a long trip. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Yeah, I could seriously see you understanding this all (and more), what with a military / aviation history. I think, similar to myself, you have your own thoughts and opinions that do and don't mesh with the more dominant cultures at your work. Yet effective teamwork keeps planes aloft, I'd imagine...
