With all due respect to classic Disney films, you are right: the 1985 mini-series is the best Alice rendition. I was in 5th/6th grade (at Welby Elementary, so those two grades are easily mistaken for each other) and we got the script and read it as a class before it was shown on TV.

We'll put it on our Netflix cue if you come down after Christmas!

It was previously released on VHS - I got it for my hubby for Christmas a few years ago. Had I known you were such a fan I would have suggested we watch it while you were here last time. Oh well, there's always next time. And it's both parts, in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.
