Last night I chanced across an interesting BBC series "A Brief History of Disbelief" on google video. I watched only part one. It's a three-part documentary on the history of atheism, which includes discussions with historians, philosophers, anthropologists, scientists, authors and probably others. Little Miss Sunshine is a must see. Now, it's a comedy, and anyone who's seen my movie collection knows that it is practically devoid of non-campy, non-musical comedies. I don't like them. Life in Ithaca's been rather noneventful. Usually I don't have problems writing something on the blog despite that fact. But I think that the heat and move sapped my enthusiasm for life, including my enthusiasm for blogging. Hopefully that's past.

Last night I had hoped to get out of the apartment, but X-Men 2 being on Fox and a little wine conspired to place me curled up in a blanket on the couch, with no desire to venture out of my warm cocoon. So I watched the latest movie the roommate had rented, Shopgirl.

I have purchased my tickets to visit the land of Zion. I'm flying into SLC on 26 May, a Friday, in the evening. My younger sister volunteered to retrieve me from the airport, not knowing that it would entail ruining her Friday nite.
