Happy 25th of May, people who are fans of Terry Pratchett and/or Douglas Adams! And happy 25th of May to, err, me. "Sweet seventeenth" doesn't roll off the tongue nearly as well as "sixteenth", so correspondingly this year I'm suffering much worse exam stress and less inclined to enjoy it. At least half term is coming up.

( I went to my first uni open day yesterday! It was at Warwick! It was mostly :D with a hint of -_- and a lot of rain. )

So, a couple of months ago, I applied to some summer school week-long mini-course at Oxford, figuring that it was free so what the hell. A couple of days ago, a letter came back! The results for January's exams came in on Thursday, and mine were underwhelming: AAB, with the B in Decision Maths, and not a particularly high B either. I decided not to try and resit for the time being, though - I heard that they were likely to fall on a particular Wednesday in June, which I really don't want to risk. Yesterday I went and applied for some summer school thing which takes place at Oxford in July. It's all covered by a trust if you get in, and application is free, so I figured that, for a very tiny chance of getting in, I wasn't losing anything.
