You mentioned a Kieffer saddle-- those are very good saddles! My aunt has one that's 40 years old and still in great shape.

A woman I work with said that it's impossible to sit incorrectly in a Bates.

Are you going to talk to Taz's leaser about letting other people ride him? That's definitely not okay...

yeah, i've gotta mention it. especially without a helmet! omg.

my saddle fitter did not recommend keiffer's in general, just that one style. no idea about it tho. i have always loved them tho, and they're on the 'cheaper' end of the nice european saddles, so we'll see.

i have had several bates saddles & they're good cos they're so "fittable". apart from that, who knows?

Ok - I have a bates saddle and I love it with the love. It's OLD though - maybe 20 years old. I've heard that they're not what they used to be.

Yeah def not on w/ the teen letting others ride without a helmet. Or the re-education BS. Because really - if you wanted him educated I'm sure you could do a much, much better job.

Poor Beej. :(

Man, I would go SPARE if someone I was leasing my horse to let other people ride him without checking with me first.
As for her 're-educating' him, from what I've seen I honestly don't think she's a good enough rider to call it that. She's not taking lessons on him for the purpose of improving Taz or his education, she's doing it to improve HER riding. And as such I sure as hell don't think she deserves to be paying less. She's already got a great deal which she seems to be taking advantage of a little with other people ridingh him, too, so...IDK.
