Sounds like jealousy to me, too. I'm sure he'll get over it eventually.

Gus used to be really curious like that. I caught him with a chicken in his mouth one day, hanging by it's tail feathers. It was the loud squawks from the chicken that first alerted me to there being something amiss... Anyway, it was really good for him to be able to explore like that because he became a far less spooky horse when he was able to touch and play with things. Curiosity is a sign of intelligence :D
