My experience has been that having the right or wrong boots can make a huge difference to your leg stability. When I first started wearing long boots I had trouble galore until I got used to them.
Flying changes are fun to play with. XL used to be fantastic at them, I could make him do 2 time flying changes with no trouble at all. If Beejay is pulling them of his own accord then you likely won't have too much trouble teaching them when the time comes. Although with that type of horse training counter canter can be a bi-atch ;)
Taz seems to be healing SO well. I think $50 a week is reasonable for a part lease. I'd be up for that if there was the right horse/owner combination in my area.
I have some days where I feel really insecure in the saddle, like I just can't get my body to stay in line. Usually I just take it easy on those days, and it usually improves by the next day. Not sure what causes it. Yay for flying changes though. It took Ax sooo long to get the hang of those.

I kind of want to half-lease out my Mocha. I'd probably not charge because he does lack a bit in manners. I'm just not riding at the moment with having no car.
