Wow you guys look fantastic! Beej does look gorgeous there, he does have a really nice topline and he is going in a nice *correct* frame. Meaning he may not be holding it very consistently yet, but I really feel you're connecting him back to front, and not just cranking his nose in. He looks good.
Your lower leg is MUCH more solid--I noticed that watching the video! And your hands are so much better too. Not perfect yet, still get a bit wobbly in the second half of the video, but much much better than they were 6 months ago, and your horse seems to reflect that change.
o definitely, one of his first indicators. BUT he tosses his head in stress as well. he can have just had his teeth done & something will spaz him out & everyone will point the finger at me to get his teeth done... when they were just done.
thanks so much. this video was really good for me because despite my craZy hands & tendency to get unbalanced, i really think he looks mint! so i can't be doing that bad. and he does get very tired, poor boy, so starts snatching at reins and going super deep or putzing around like a pony clubber.
Hi - I hope you don't mind if I pop in here. He looks really good! i can really see the benefits of (attempting) correct riding to build topline, as opposed to lunging the shit out of a horse with a variety of gadgets, or trying to feed up. Yes. Oh, yes.
