Oooooh, I don't think you would like the hills here then. Now, I thought that it was flat there, it isn't? In pic 20, in the background,it that a road cut across that little hill or is that a mineral deposit or something, just curious. And in the same pic, the road you are riding on- is that a regular road or a riding trail? Just wondering, it looks an awful lot like the road I live on except for the red dirt. Our dirt isn't that color.

It does look like a very nice area. Pic two has nice board fences. I was under the impression that on road ways there was only one fence type allowed. Good to see. You are lucky, I wish we had some kind of equestrian center here. But I wouldn't have a way to get there anyhow, our dirt roads and mountain trails are okay too, they will suffice.

Very, very nic pics. It is so cool to see your area. It looks quite lush to me, like here. It is just great to see you out and about enjoying Taz with friends. Looks like you had a wonderful time.

the road cutting across the hill is a fire trail in the national park.
the red dirt track we are on is the bridle trail.
red dirt equal's full of iron.

no such ruling here about the type of fencing that is allowed - at least in our area, and where we were riding.

it's lush now, give it a few months and it will all be brown, and burnt from our summer sun

Thanks for answering all my questions. I figured that was likely a bridle path but like I said our road is much like that so I wasn't sure. The class 4 roads here are even worse than that and are not plowed in the winter. NOt that way everywhere though, I don't want you to think. WE do have big broad highways. We just live WAY out in the boonies. Apparently our roads right here are like your bridle paths. ha ha

Im very happy to hear that your part of Aus. doesn't force ppl to have barbed wire, as I am sure you are too.

It looks like you guys had a very nice time, hope you can get together and do it again soon. I'd be rightly delighted to be able to go riding with someone, that would be just so cool.

No problems :) more than happy to answer the questions :)

We are hoping to go out soon again, it depends on Blitzen's schedule as she is usually busy being an awesome teacher

Sounds like fun. :-) What an accomplishment, and what a change, for you to be ABLE to just GO like this...just go have fun and do a trail ride. Awesome!

That hill you're walking up looks huge.

This has to be said first... "Hey Jaana, from these photos I can see your ass is getting smaller!" :D

Soooo jealous. Will have to fly lizzie over one day and go trail riding out there ;-)

It looked like hard work for horse 7 rider!

Wow, looks like such a nice ride. I'm jealous! Also, I really like your helmet. I don't think we have that brand in the states.
