Ride Out With Tazzie
So on tuesday i went out with jaana & the ponies to Brigadoon for a trail ride. we parked at jaana's friend's place & then saddled up for a 3hr (approx?) ride. pretty awesome.
taz ready to go. i debating using a bridle or the dually & decided to go with the dually.

all the properties around here are a horse lovers wet dream. just gorgeous.

taz was all "WTF???" at the water. hehehe.
this hill was NO FUCKING JOKE. i actually felt vertigo when we crested the hill and saw this downhill part. i jumped off & led taz down.
tunnel under train lines. a train came along several minutes after we went thru. jaana pointed out that the horses prob felt the vibrations in their feet so were extra brave going through.
shortly after the tunnel i got off because i thought poor taz needed a rest. that was on flat ground. about 5m after turning a corner we were faced with this ENORMOUS FUCKING HILL. i was like, "righteyO!" but by the end was holding onto taz's mane to prevent me from SLIDING BACK DOWN again. no shit, it was hard work. i swear, my quads are STILL burning.
i got on at this point & lin got off.
some pretty waterfalls, which i was pretty much too exhausted to appreciate.
the big fancy x-country jumps above all belong to the SEC. it's got an indoor arena & very nice polo fields & RDA & various other groups all meet there. lots of championships & huge horse shows are held there.
got off again for walkies.
then more pottering around the water & on the nice mowed lawns.
and back home.
i took a bunch of pics for you guys of the indoor arena & the stalls etc, but i haven't uploaded them anywhere & can't be bothered doing it now. o well.
