I asked Glory's owner Jeanette about this Rescue Remedy stuff and she has some she said I can try, so maybe fatty pants will calm down a bit when we're out alone. Your post about Beejay doing well when you used it was what spurred me to look into it so thank you!

it is VERY good. my bowen lady also has it in beej's regular essence recipe as well.

however, i would spend some time just playing around with it at home before you take it out. some ppl think it makes their horse MORE loopy, but what it actually does is let down a lot of emotional barriers so the horse gets surprised by their emotions & can panic a bit (similar to a panic attack that one might have if they're scared of the fact they're freaking out). so i'd use it at home first.

and it's a vibrational remedy so you only need a few drops at a time. 4 drops is recommended for humans & i'd do about the same with horses, but then add some over 5-10min intervals. with beej, i usually give him some on his carrot when i first see him in the paddock. then i do poo duty & potter about, then give him some more. then give him the last dose just before we head out on a ride.

good luck with it. i always make sure i have some as well. helps me a lot!

Brilliant news. Really good to hear about you and your redhead getting to go out and have adventures again. I love the picture of him over your shoulder- very bless indeed.
