the idea with the overbooking is that they expect ppl to just fuck up and either a) miss the flight or b) just skip it. either way they get money.

you got lucky with all the perks there. ive been screwed by may airlines and barely got the food or upgrade. many times there wasnt an upgrade to get. :/

I'd have raised a huge stink over that. You'll note they didn't offer a hotel- if I needed one, I'd have to fly with them to Omaha NE and stay there.

Makes zero sense, but oh well.

cause the upgrade costs nothing, but they have to pay for hotels...

some of the plane routing never does.
