My weekend: heart broken, I puked, I cried (no pooping.)

Friday night Chelsea and I went to the Bare Hands art gallery hosted Dia de los Muertes festival. Parade of the dead, beautiful art, music and beer... We enjoyed it and plan to go back next year with as many friends as we can wrangle in tow.

My grandparents (now just the surviving one) do/did the same thing, and yes, it really hurts to hear it.
I understand its a part of their process of acceptance, and I need to give them that chance, but gawd. When my grandmother starts talking about "final holidays" and "when I die I want you to have this..." its like throwing a shovel into my heart.

Sorry to hear about your grandparents. My parents have both been having health issues lately, so recently they went to a local cemetery and bought their lots...with headstones already complete except for the date of death.

Gave me a 10/10 on the "heebie-jeebie" scale.

man, I've heard about this coming Thanksgiving for you - and I'm sorry it's upsetting you.
I understand those feelings.

On a lighter note,
The Immodium story made me laugh at lunch the other day ... and picturing it (hating that I wasn't a fly on the wall at y'alls place) was even better.
