"Mmmf." The muffled sound was coming from under his pillow. The tall teen was face down on his bed, wings limp behind him, with a pillow firmly covering his whole head.
There's also a bunch of feathers of various sizes around. The pillow is lifted fractionally at the sound of a friendly voice.
"Hey...What's up?"
It's fine! She'd better be in more or less good shape though or Iggy might set fire to his bed...
She stays in the doorway, hesitating. "-- I just -- wanted to visit. Is this a bad time?"
She doesn't want to intrude! She's worried! But she still deposits the thing she was carrying - a small cassette player, and a few tapes. She thought they might be of interest to him.
Looks like she won't be worse for the wear, this time. XD She's on her way.
He moves to sit up a bit more, taking the pillow away from his face and shaking his head. "No, it's cool. It's not like I'm contagious or anything. Make yourself comfortable."
Music? Yes please! He will love you forever for that.
Mothers! They're never far when you need to be fussed over. This one is half-healed from the nicks and scrapes she got from her assignation with Muraki, but that will not stop her from checking in on her son... so here she is, gently knocking at the door, then poking her head in.
"Iggy?" And immediately worried, she comes over. "Elua, what happened?"
Iggy's cheeks warm up as he blushes. He sighs. "No, nobody hurt me. It's ... Look, remember when I said I was part bird? I wasn't kidding. It's the bird part that's doing it's stupid bird thing."
He still loves his mother, even if she's just scared him half to death.
Terrible things are in store for Iggy, so it's probably good that she's on high alert.
Iggy tilts his head towards the sound of Nellas and sighs, nodding. "Yeah, I'm okay." He reaches up and digs his fingers into his wings, pulling out another feather and absently dropping it to the ground before smoothing a hand over that spot.
"It's your room too. You can come in if you want."
"Something is not right with your wings. What is it?" She edges closer, concerned. She knows that birds molt, of course, but it hasn't quite crossed her mind that Iggy would, too.

It's been a while, so she will be coming a-knockin', and will pause on the threshold.
"Iggy? It's Genevieve..."
She's got something with her, too.
I want to send Phedre too, but I need to figure out with Muraki's typist how the assignation went first...

"Jeeze! Don't do that." He's not angry, just ... really tense suddenly. "It's okay. I'm okay."

Yes, mothers are worry bags - and this one is a touch more nervous these days, we're not exactly sure why.
