On the one hand, Iggy was thrilled that it was happening. It meant that he was healthy and happy and felt safe enough.
On the other hand... It was slowly driving him insane.
Almost every bird molts. It's just a fact of life. Even kids that are only part bird. Thankfully, it's not the kind of total drop where his wings wind up bald and gross.
It is the kind of molt though where his wings are kindof ragged looking and there are a few spaces where flight feathers are missing. He's also in a lousy mood and trying to hide out.
He probably could have picked a better space than his room...
Iggy's molting! Think of it like ... having the flu. He aches, feels tired, isn't hungry (EGAD!), and if in a bit of a pissy state of mind. He's also currently unable to fly, so he'll be sticking around in the Mansion for a while.
If he is bothered too much in his room, he'll get up and move somewhere else, so don't feel like you have to run into him in any specific spot. Just let me know in your post where you are and we can run with it. ^^
