I know I was just lamenting the amount of rain we've been getting...but I'm still not tired of listening to it hitting the windows.

It's not so much less rain I want, but more sun.

And 36-hour days!  Yay!

It is ok to want it all!
I used to like it when I was young in Oregon as it would rain every morning and then we usually had a sunny afternoon :-)

When I moved to British Columbia everyone complained that it rained so much. But I grew up in Saskatchewan where there would be long periods without rain and the farmers would complain about the sad state of their crops. When it finally did rain there, everyone was so happy. That's what I thought of when it rained here. The other reason I like rain is because in Saskatchewan it snowed all winter, but here it just rains. You don't have to shovel rain, which is a big plus!
