Post-prom.
Eiko awoke slowly, on the mattress in the cabin. It was early, yes, but for her rather late to awaken. Curled up, skin to skin, with Isis, she decided that perhaps, yes, today, it would be okay to wake up late.
She closed her eyes, and emptied her mind, just listening to the world wake up as Isis slept. -

It is Heisei 19, Shigatsu, Yokka.
On Heisei 2, Shigatsu, Yokka, I was born.
So it is my seventeenth birthday today. My foster parents asked if I wanted a celebration, and I said no. They did give me some clothes, and copies of the Chushingura, the Hagakure and the Heike Monogatari., however.
So passes another year. -
Eiko is not in school today.
This is unusual, as she is always there. She is in class, taking notes, watching carefully. Since coming to Middle Area High, the only days she has missed that were not scheduled for trips were the days after the avalanche ( Read more... ) -
A question.
Some people were interested in seeing me perform a Shinto ritual. Two weeks from now is the ceremony for invoking the spirits that change the seasons, and I was wondering who would be interested in seeing.
