Likes: chocolate, rum, literature, explosions, biology, gardening, animals, capoeira, music (play a few instruments), Mel Brooks, all kinds of humor but especially the especially dark (I tell dead baby jokes, even) , cognitive science, developmental psychology, anime, Ghost in the Shell (so good it can be listed separately from anime), anything one can consider "classical music," Yasunori Mitsuda, Yoko Kanno (I want to bear her children), Star Wars the original trilogy, Muse, Flogging Molly, building things, boys who like boys, girls who like boys, girls who like girls (but that usually doesn't work out since I'm a boy...), Richard Wagner, Norse mythology, Stargate and Battlestar Galactica, sci-fi, cooking, linguistics, gender studies, and so much more
Dislikes: vanilla-scented candles, betrayal, papercuts, blisters on my feet from capoeira, people standing in my way or holding me back, rules that are too restrictive for free expression, too much parsley in my curry, homophobia, religious bigots who want to write their religious bigotry into my country's constitution by completely disregarding provisions there to prevent them from doing exactly that (Falwell down, now only a few more to go) and anyone who causes human suffering because of his or her bigotry, human suffering unless it's funny
Strong points: intellect, adaptability, cunning, surreptitiousness, integrity, the ability to see the big picture but appreciate the finer details, physical durability to a degree, really good hearing and perception, good cook, great kisser and... well, we'll leave that tangent alone...
Weaker points: equilibrium, asthma, contrariness, near-sightedness that necessitates the use of corrective lenses (yes, I'm a four-eyes), sometimes speaking in a way that other people find difficult to understand
Hobbies &/or Talents: I play several instruments, I'm good with languages, I'm going to be a graduate student studying linguistics in the Fall, I play Maple Story and other random videogames (mostly RPGs, but I was psyched to find out that there's going to be a Gundam verson of Dynasty Warriors), capoeira and a modicum of judo, reading, studying lol, hanging out with friends, inventing things and trying to build them, cooking, multitasking, making out and related things, finding patterns, and I tinker and learn/figure things out so quickly it sometimes surprises people--like my brother, who goes on to accuse me of cheating at videogames because I figure out how they work and (ab)use the system the way the designers intended.

Favorite animal: hmmm... so many... but probably the cat
Favorite season: rainy, but not when it overlaps with hurricane season (Floridian here; forgive me if I like electricity)
Mature or Immature: both, though I find Immaturity to be far less restrictive
Leader or Follower: more former than latter, though much more independent than both
Outgoing or Shy: both, and if neither, then I'll fake it till I make it
Confident or Modest: both; I do not see either of these things as being in the same plane or mutually exclusive
Optimistic, Pessimistic, or Realist: "I'm a realist, not a cynic"
Low, medium, or high energy level: That depends on how much chocolate and green tea I've had. Really, though, it varies far too much, but I appear to have a low physical energy level while maintaining a high mental energy level

Well, I started out in an extremely religious environment--the bad kind--and after some really nasty stuff went down have since left it and not looked back. Even though I'm very proud of the person I've become and how relatively well-adjusted I am now, I acknowledge that who I am is very different from who I expected I'd be when I was a wee little boy. Who knows, though? Maybe the two will get closer as I get older.
Describe your personality in three words or more: Queer in every possible meaning of the word, and just a liiiiiittle bit crazy. Just a little. I'm a bit of an activist--what can I say? I don't like oppression. I've bleached and dyed my hair different colors, my eyes change colors naturally, I'm a sun sign Cancer, moon in Scorpio, ascendant Aquarius; I'm a Wood Ox (think Haru, for you Furuba fans). I'm definitely a nerd, though I have too much social skill to truly be considered a geek. I'm an English major who's taken and passed (quite well, actually) Calculus, biology, and chemistry classes for pre-med majors. I took a cadaver lab for fun. I'm very friendly, very welcoming to everybody (except people I don't like), professional, "maternal." To sum it up: "I am what I am

Aizen, because of the aforementioned loathing of betrayal. I should mention, though, that I originally started watching the fansubs but stopped because of technological limitations soon after the (1st, I've heard) return from Soul Society, so I don't know who he became afterwards
