My mom had a lump removed from her breast, fortunatly it turned out to be benign. My dad on the other hand wasn't as lucky, he got cancer in his colon.. However, after having a length of his intestinal area removed, he's recovered completely.
So, while it's fine (and normal) to be worried, you just have to remember that the Docs are getting pretty good at fighting most cancers.

Utterly normal to be scared to death of hospitals... they are evil! A lot...

Take everything that the doctors say with a grain of salt because no matter what they think, they are not God's messengers upon the face of the earth. So I guess what I am saying is, Squirrels!!!

Shhh!! Don't scare the girl. Doctors WANT to help, Bri.. Don't forget that. They're not out to get anybody. They can only do their best.

I think its mainly just the way they have faith in medicine that worries me, its like people who believe the Bible is the literal truth.

Rabid belief makes me nervous. On a positive note though, most of the time Doctors are very much right... and they make everything better :)

It's normal luv. Hell I'm still nervous about my dad's epilepsy even though he's been takeing medication that prevents seizures for how long?
One attack and I'm scarred for life, so I'm thinking you'll be the same.
