Huh. Well, it's not like disembodied voices can do anything, so I doubt it'll be a problem.

Sure. Later. [She turns off the video...]

[--and a brief time later, it's on again when she knocks it to the floor. Rita, looking somewhere between shocked, disturbed, and annoyed, is holding her blowtorch in one hand and staring at something.]

L-look, just--shut up, stop screaming, will you?

[The sound of high-pitched wailing is going on in the background.]

[ Damn it, Rita, don't you know he was almost on his way... somewhere with Jowy? He stops dead in his tracks and turns around to rush back towards the beach house. ]

Stop me? [It hits--he's got the wrong idea again. She supposes she understands; she would too, right? But it's still a pain to deal with. She's not hurt he doesn't trust her. That kind of thing doesn't matter. With a flick of her thumb, the torch is turned off.]

I was just going to score the formula crests, but--and now it's all messed up!

[stargathering]
