Those..things yesterday--why the hell did the City let something like that loose? N-not that they were scary or anything. They weren't so tough against a few fireballs...I think we might need to replace a couple things in the house

Unfortunately, "why" is a question not likely to be answered.

Those creatures have appeared before.

My advice when it comes to those situations is appointing guardians to restrain you if need be.

I think locking yourself in a room or something is the best guarantee since your friends could end up just as bad.
