The subject doesn't refer to the appropriateness of viewing this at work. It refers to my growing feeling of safety in my workplace. In fact, today that feeling was changed to one of real excitement and hope for building my future for years to come ( Read more... )

Very cool. Good thing you're pulling the plug on some of your volunteer activities; that DB solution you're talking about sounds like a big chunk of work.

I've already developed the same sort of db for a previous workplace. I intend to use the one I did before as a reference point. I wouldn't be creating any really net new functionality, just new functional modules that use similar functions. Still, you're right that it will take quite a bit of work to put together.
