Summary: Surgical patients often say strange things when they first come out of anesthesia. House knew this. ~930 words.

*sigh* That was such a lovely read. Doped-up!Wilson is adorable.

I really liked this line:
"You're a regular Wilsicle." Very cute line.

And of course, the image of House reaching up and playing with Wilson's hair is nice, too. :-)

We need more canon drunk!Wilson and dopey!Wilson, right? He is so funny and wonderful when under the influence of something.

House in canon seems to have a strong interest in the hair of the people he knows well; he's remarked on it enough times. And he's so tactile that I can easily imagine he'd do this if he could get away with it.

Aw, thank you. :-) I have quite the thing for hurt/comfort and felt like indulging myself a bit. Input from Nightdog and Corgigirl made this what it is, too.

I love hurt/comfort as well. It's really the only genre I write in. :) It's so nice to have people who can help brainstorm and read through things for you, isn't it??

Despite all the references to cold, there was something very calming and comforting about this fic (and who doesn't love Dopey!Wilson?). Completely IC and believable - loved it to pieces :)
