Dude. Chica. Talk to me. That part crushed me. (The last time such a thing happened to a character on my show, I cried my eyes out for twenty minutes before I could talk about it with any coherency.)

My mom (I watched it with my mom tonight) keeps saying that they could come back. I'm thinking this is the end of their run.

Because *sob* Lisa has no recollection of Dean. At all. Not even that "best night of my life" when she was Gumby Girl and Dean was Pokey.

One of my predictions for the end of the season was that Sam and Dean would cease to exist. And for Lisa and Ben, Dean has. *sob*

But if they were to bring them back? I would be so (cautiously) happy.

Your first & second paragraphs, you are, of course, totally right.

However, given the . . . mixed reactions (weighing toward the negative, in my observation--though I could just be paranoid) . . . that Lisa and Ben got this season (and last), I'm expecting that we've seen the last of them.

I would not be unhappy to see them return--and regain their memories, thankyouverymuch. But right now, I'm not holding my breath.

As for Cas . . . he is no longer the character I loved at the beginning of S4. I haven't yet figured out what to do with what they did there at the end.

The only thing I kinda disliked about the epi was beating the "but we're family" dead horse into a bloody pile of pulp. We GET it, writers. Give us a smidge of credit. Might there have been more interesting ways to address the issue? Yeah, prolly. But that's okay. I still love you all for giving us Show.

Can I get a Piece of Sam™ too? He can just stand in my corner, sulking...looking hot...yanno, whatever comes natural.
